Media and Social Change Game Design The PhD is based on a program of study and research culminating in the completion of a dissertation in the major field of study. The Global Exchange Workshop is an intensive, seven-week workshop in documentary filming that pairs graduate students from the USC School of Cinematic Arts and the Communication University of China (CUC) to make short documentaries on Los Angeles and/or Beijing as global cities.
